About Cobblestone Couture:

The idea for Cobblestone Couture was born out of a question posed between a bunch of PR nerds and news junkies, about whether Richmond had a solid source for what’s going on in style and fashion.  One of them replied, “You mean like stuff from J.C. Penney’s, right?”.  That answer made it painfully obvious that Richmonders might need a little lesson in high fashion and a venue to cheer on those already embracing it.  So, this PR nerd decided to take a leap of faith and created Cobblestone Couture to share her thoughts on being fabulous and in style in RVA.

About Courtney Skunda:

Courtney is a 30 something  Marketing and PR Manager in downtown Richmond, VA.  Since childhood, Courtney has been obsessed with clothes.  It all began at age 5 when she no longer let her mother pick out her clothes and declared that pink and purple “were out” and black and white “were in.”  This obsession was only further cemented by growing up with Tyson’s Corner in her backyard.  Before the age of 10, Saks, Neiman Marcus, Tiffany’s, and Hermes were regular vocabulary words for Courtney.

For the past 18 years, Courtney has called Richmond, VA her home and has traveled the world one shop at a time.  When not out seeking the newest and latest boutiques, Courtney enjoys entertaining, decorating, reading, and spending time with her family, friends, and toy poodle, Snuggles.  You can also find her glued to CNN and various reality TV shows 24 hours a day.
